Ice Bowl season officially begins next week! Buzzy's Ice Bowl is less than a month away!

Why are there only 10 people signed up for this?

Who else is going?

What food are you bringing?

Will there be less snow this year? (god, I hope so! That was a lot of shoveling!)

Noah, what do you need help with?

Noah i will start getting some carpet in case we need it but at this rate there might not be any ice on the lake.

greg: I think i'm good for now: i'll need a hand or two on the day of the Ice Bowl. I ordered some merch for sale at the event: a few $10 t-shirts , $14 long sleeves, $18 'performance' long sleeves, $12 beanies and some fundraiser rocs, buzzzes, and tie-dyed vulcans. due to the limited number of items i don't want to take any pre orders - first come first server on the 28th. I'll need a man at the merch table. some heads to help with scores are always good too.

Nick: there's still plenty of time for ice to form. with the lake so low, there is some new dry land that will likely serve as a tee too. some carpet would be good to have too.

I still don't know how the grills get there. I have a decent sized charcoal grill but no way to move it. if anyone with a truck wants to swing by my house the day before we could lock it like the wheel barrow but i'd want it to come home that same weekend too.

I got a small propane grill. The big grill comes from the Warwick Bowling Alley and is coordinated through Roach, but I think it might not be available anymore?

I am scheduled to work for that day but put the word out no way---I PM'd Noah, I can get the grills from Warwick and hopefuly don't slip on ice and slam my finger in the door of my truck thus breaking it and be out of DG commision for 6 months! True story 2 years ago-right index (flick) finger saving Roach $10 in charcoal!

what adam fails to tell you was roach was told not to buy charcoal there was plenty in the shed. because he doesnt know how to close a door , i get the blame. lets run adam for president. or make him a lawyer as no one is responsible for their own action its always the other party or persons fault. i draw the line and do not accept resposibilty for adams misfortune but do protect his right to whine. thats a buck, flick. THEINNOCENT

ps
the above was said with tongue in cheek and pants to the floor

The new community bowling program was designed to keep kids like Roach off of the streets...

...And in the alleys!

regardless of roach's food choice, just know due to his preference for spicy dishes that everyone will
be making their own painful "sausage soup" the next morning........

26 In's so far.

seriously, what is happening with heating food?

chili

I guess i should start on a layout. lets hope it's not a 6 hour death march through nipple-deep snow.

Im in, I have a grill very close by and I will do my best to get it there.

chili

The mud should be Ice Mud, which could be very playable. Alts are awesome with some platnum classics, less Xing fairways the better, trying to get out there this weekend to cut up some hangers.

The grill situation:
We have 2 gas grills, the smaller one JByrd donated has a leaky regulator hose, I'll pick one up at Lowe's or somewhere. The bigger one I donated is good but grates are very rusty, good for heating up trays or pots. There are several small charcoal grills also so I'll get some charcoal. I think we have enough propane.

the early weather report for sat 1/28/ cloudy high of 39. low of 26. the temp for the week doesnt suggest using the lake for a basket. maybe the tee of 7 but possible 2 days of rain right before the ice bowl. doesnt matter cause you know we will still have fun regardless of lake conditions. just a different type THEPAST
