Greeting Folks,
Lesli and I are excited to host this years Warwick Ice Bowl on Saturday February 18th 2012! As always this will be a charity event and we will be raising money for the Warwick Ecumenical Council Food Pantry. We'll be accepting both food and cash donations for the charity and hope that this will be our most fun and productive Ice Bowl yet. Over the past couple of years mother nature has produced some rather nasty conditions for us. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with us this year. Come and enjoy one of the best courses in the northeast while helping those that are less fortunate. Here are some details

Registration 745-830
Players Meeting 845
Round 1 start. 9
Lunch 12 POT LUCK LUNCH...let's start a list of who's bringing what...
Round 2 start 1:15
Awards 4:30

Entry fees
Pro $40 + 2 cans for charity
Ams and Women $25 + 2 cans for charity

$5 from each player will be donated to charity

Yeah it's definitely cool to pay the day of, in fact we will only be accepting money the day of the event. Please show up to time, we will be strict with the registration cutoff. Hopefully the weather will be good and we can play one of the longer layouts. Can't wait

Lesli and Steve,

Greetings. IN for ice bowl.

JByrd, Corbran, Craven and I would really like to play in an advanced grandmaster division. I'm pretty sure others would hop onboard, but there's a foursome minimally..

So what say you guys? One more division? Played in this division at Kisco ice bowl, was very competitive...

Scott

To All, I want to thank you for making Tourneys come together. I have to say at age 47 I don't really get excited for much anymore. Birthdays and Christmas.....all great but now that I have been playing for a few years and ramping up my tournament attendance, I literally start thinking about these tournys on Monday morning, getting more excited each day like a little kid. It is awesome I must say.

Who knew?! I lived nearby for almost 8 years before someone brought me to the course. the rest as they say is "history" !! Love Disc Golf. Will play until I cant anymore.

so thanks to all who have been doing this for years and continue to do so. great job!!! as always. =D> =D> =D>

what is the appropriate division for a 55-year-old player that rarely plays, with a 930 rating, who has previously cashed?

Again I have to miss Warwick IB, aahhrrgghh my home course! Going to Vermont can't make it. Looks like a real good pro field, have fun all!!

Lots of grills in the shed, going to need charcoal and gas tanks though.

2 gas grills, lots of charcoal grills, small ones. 2 tanks in shed, both empty. If anyone has a gas tank they'd like to bring, you would save a lot of hassle.

Nick retrieved from Buzzy's the left over plates/tin foil/utensils whatever, he can tell you what we have in the shed as far as that stuff.

Don't forget lighter fluid and big garbage bags! Over and out...and good luck!!

P.S.--the smaller gas grill may leak at the tank connection-someone miraculously figured out at Buzzy's how NOT to make it leak. So apparently, it can be done. 8-)

Love that Corbran is so stoked on Ice Bowls that he is signed up to play 2 divisions!

Also Am2 field is looking like a classic Nickelodeon show:

how appropriate is it that newman and myself play advanced masters?

we're both currently rated about 930 (i think). from a ratings standpoint we both belong more in advanced masters than Open.

but in my case i havent played in an am division since i first started playing Open (and getting my arse handed to me) back before there was electricity or an internet.

i dont want to cause problems by playing in this division. or what if Karl Molitoris decides to play in this division? would that be even more unfair? perhaps, but the "rules" probably allow him to play advanced while perhaps excluding me.

its a charity event and that should be the focus (and having fun).
