I guess its time to start this thread.
Hole 8, Warwick, Sunday, July 17 around 5:00PM
After busting his ass, along with others, all day working on hole 8, Stevie Brinster finally gets to drive the hole during a round of short to short with Mahler, Roach, and myself. His Aviar was slightly shanked down the right side of the fairway where it bips a tree and kicks hard left into the big Cherry Tree and then gets kicked directly into the basket. Ace # ± 63 for Steve. THEN Jeff Mahler steps up and pures his rock straight down the fairway nailing the first back to back Ace i have ever seen or heard of. Sweet shots guys

Wow-how cool is that! Still looking for my first ace at Warwick

Heard you guys hung out for the entertainment afterwards at the park-must have been a great time!

Retreived my saw from the shack, Mahler is the official rock wall adoptee for the course, nice job on 13 Jeff!

Since May 1st, the Dogwood Crosstown NT event in NC, I've had 7 aces. 1st was to end the 3rd round of the NT to finish -2 for the round, at Zebulon hole 1, flick with a Predator.
Next was Hole 4 at Cedar Hills in Raleigh during league, flick with a Z-Buzzz for $641 (they have great ace pools down here!)
Next was Hold 11 with a D-Buzzz at kentwood in Raleigh NC in league, for $24 (ok, Cedar has a great ace pool)
Next was a little 9 hole course in Boulder CO, with Mike Randolphs APX putter.
Next was Practicing for a tournament at Wellspring in Burlington NC, 3x JK Aviar-X.
Next was a Thumber ace with a Predator on hole 1 at Kentwood 5 minutes before league started.
The last one was 2 days after the thumber ace...tagged Hole 6 at Cedarock park with an 11x Teebird in my 8th round of the day during the 'Great 8' tournament. Marathon golf rocks! I aced on my 132nd hole of the day...on my way to a last round 38, also my personal best on any course ever. That hole probably plays around 300 feet, either a big swooping anhyzer or a big flat hyzer over a bunch of trees and let it fall left...I hyzered.

Also got one early in Jan in a drunken stupor on the way back from a bar at 2:30 am...
Almost hit another one last week in league...that would have been for $300. Ace pools down here are $2 to get in each week and it carries over. We average 40+ people a week until the ace pools get high, then we'll get upwords of 80 (with a good 20 casual players that still play inbetween league groups.)
I hear Warwick is blowing up bigtime?? Coool. Get them to help out on work days.

:-D OK, I flicked a Crystal Z-Buzzz on hole 4 at Cedar Hills in Raleigh (plays about 230, slightly uphill in the woods), and halfway there yelled 'GET IN!!,' then it got in...for $641. Biggest ace pool NC has ever seen, and one of the biggest in the country. There was much rejoycing. yay. Now shaddup.

I've never had a personality and I"m not about to start now.
After the ace these two smoking hot lesbians came up to me and started going at it on top of the basket I aced. It was quite the site.
Is that better? Yeah, I know, I'm still a beautiful nozzle or whatever the hell silk calls me.

I just received an email from a local disc golfer named Jeff from Blauvelt, NY. He Aced WinterGaw 17 (SummerGaw 8) from the short tee this morning with an XS clean down the shoot. His message-

"You don't know me....I don't know you....but I just felt the need to tell someone 'official' what I did this morning (Feb 7, 2006 - 8:35AM) at Campgaw.
Hole in One......#17!!!!...... (lower tee).
It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."

I guess now i am 'official'!
Great Shot Jeff, Congratulations!

That was my 31st. 11th in the last 13 months. Got it hole 13 at Zebulon with a nice 25 mph right left wind. BlakeT was filming it for an upcoming DVD to come out sometime in June, filmed about 12 golfers or so in NC and probably 75 throughtout the country. Humbabepoboymumittenzsilk!

He filmed between 10-15 NC golfers on this trip. He's filmed a ton of people rated 990 and up all over the country. Each person gets I think about 3-5 minutes of film each. After all that is done comes the bloopers which should be plenty. He claims the DVD should be out the end of June...ish.

wtf, that's it!?!?! BTW, Jeff..I *think* charlie aced Winter 15 (the one I parked in our round..) Could be wrong though..anyways..

I'm never cocky (quite the opposite usually,) but I'm predicting myself for the next ace (and my 1st career ace) at Campgaw..

I've been soooo close on summer 3 short (winter 5) and summer 7 short (winter 16) that I know it's gonna happen before the year's out. If it reaches Nov or Dec and I still havent aced, I'll start throwing hand grenades..

you heard it here first..

Warwick Superbowl Sunday Dubs, I was teamed up with Brinster and playin with Lesli and Jeff Orlowski. We were walking up to hole 1 playing silver-silver, and Steve was heckling Charlie and another group about our group hitting an Ace on the first hole, on the first throw of the round. Our group was making agreements about what to do if a team mate hits an ace, and Steve told me to take us out. I stepped up to the tee like I had a thousand times before with my Old School Pro Fire Bird in my hand, and let one fly. All I remember is Steve saying, "thats got it," as it wrapped around the tree, and smash, nothing but chains. A whole lotta yelling and craziness followed, and Steve and I were -2 without him even throwing a disc. It was amazing!!!

Just like Jared but without an aces pot on the line, I hit an ace at Warwick #1 S-S on my first throw of the day. ...the rest of the day wasn't as pretty.

This was a post from Jared, figured it should be here for history sake, so I copied it. Great accomplishment, Mike!! Any witnesses? Just kidding!-Flick

I played a round today at Buzzy's with Mike Fagerstrom who called me from Wolf's Woods where he had just ACED #11, the first of the three newly installed holes. I do believe that that is the FIRST ACE of the three newly established holes in Wolf's Woods. Actually I believe that that is the FIRST ACE on the newly established and completed 18 hole course that is Wolf's Woods!!!

Congratulations Mike!!!

On Wednesday, April 26 at 4:20, I hit an ace from the regular tee on Hole #6 @ Buzzy's. Took my Champion Eagle (172) and threw a backhand into the gap. Originally, it looked as if it was going to nail the tree just to the left of the opening, but instead it just made it. Then I heard a faint chain sound a second later. First one at Buzzy's, and hopefully not the last. GIT R DONE SKYLANDERS!!!

there are a few at Brandywine that are ace-able:

Hole 2 is blind hyzer shot around trees, with a slight downhill approach to a very fast green sloping down and away from the tee... gettable though

hole 3 main is a straight down-hill shot, fast green sloping down right to left. alternate is shorter on a rock-wall plateau above the other pin, definitely gettable

Hole 7 is gettable: simple uphill knife hyzer over trees

Hole 11: maybe, straight roc shot or sweeping knife hyzer around a monstrous tree.

Hole 13: downhill, definitely gettable

Nothing else though. Bring your long game and your wind game regardless...

4 aces on the TIKI course at the Grange. I don't care if the holes are only 50-125' in length - those are the first aces I've had in over 3 years.
