Looks good to me without a major conflict.

10:00 one round

PRO $20
AM $15
REC $10

Optional ace pot for a buck.

All divisions play the same layout for the tag challenge, probably a mix of long/shorts

I would like to keep the after round BBQ a WW Monthly tradition, right Luke? :D
Any profit goes to the club.

If it's going to rain like Buzzy's monthly did though, we may postpone it.

Winners receive plastic for AMs with Skylands logo, cash for pros.

Don't forget to mark your calendars folks! Hurry up and pre-reg, it's filling up fast! Well, thought I'd give that a try!!

No pre reg, but an online show-of-hands as to how many may show would be cool. Need to know how many burgers! The WW monthly had the biggest turnout last year both times, 36 players. Let's top that and spread the word!

Hopefully WW is not under water by then, anyone venture into it to see flood/damage from winter?
Whatever the conditions, we're playing it. First ones on hole 4 need to find Pimpy's bridge!

NEFA Team Challenge finals are that Saturday at Maple Hill. A bunch of us will be there representing the ONLY undefeated team-Team Captain Lawrence. We will do our best to make it back.

Hopefully you guys can make it, that really was the only date looking at all events that seemed to not conflict too much.

Yep, I didn't want to take on too much at once. If it works out, I'll do another 10-week league in the Summer. Based on last night's attendance, I'd say it seems to be working out.

But back to this thread... I won't be making the monthly, but I might be able to get up there later and do some work at the workday. Maybe.

Im 90% sure I will be at the Wolfe Woods Monthly, I have the propane tank for the grill.
If I cant make it, I will post, and someone else will need to bring propane for Micky A's Hamburger and Hot Dawg Hut.

Haha! I like that, Mickey A's!

Don't let my absence from Warwick dubs scare you all, this is still on!!!

Wolfe is in pretty good shape, and JByrd, Nick gets free full tanks of propane people throw out where he works so that should be covered.

The forecast is for mid 60's, no real threat of rain. Perfect golfing weather.

Also good working weather, and I appreciate those that said they can't make the monthly but can show up for some work. Someone has to take over the Keith McCormack brush cutter, I'll show you how to start it!

We need a battery for the AgPack (somebody left the key ON and killed it!! ), I may have trouble getting that before this weekend.

If you need to just unwind folks and play golf, do not feel guilt tripped in any way please if you can't join the workday afterwards. Please. It's understandable that it's your day off finally or something.

But show up for golf/BBQ/good times!!

Any body know if the grill has the old style propane hookup or the newer one, it doesn't matter I have both, just wondering which kind i need to bring.
Do we have any kind of list of what needs to be done or are we winging the work day. I know we need to take care of the tree on 10 animal and i have an idea on how to save, it anything else.

Not sure what kind of hookup the grill has, how do I tell old or new? I have to go there later today anyway, I bought a new battery for the AgPack and want to make sure it's going to work and do inventory.

Don't know what major stuff we're doing, I'm sure it involves the usual stuff, mostly cleaning up.

We still have some T-shirts for anyone that wants them on the workday.

That layout is do-able.

Thanks Luke for helping knock out the overhanging branch off 18's long tee so its fair, along with the tree that was blocking the path off Animal 14 longs bridge.

The AgPack lives! New battery, it started right up and we can use it to haul stuff tomorrow.

The BBQ stuff is set-- a good thick burger/Nathans hot dog/chips and lettuce/onions/cheese for the burgers. If someone has a couple of tomatoes sliced up that would be cool. Water will be onsite, supposedly it's not entirely healthy to drink water out of the tap at Warwick so I'm bringing some.

Remember, this is all about the monthly, the workday is secondary but would be appreciated but not expected so again, show up and have fun playing golf, stick around for the BBQ!! You will NOT be guilt tripped, trust me!!! Wolfe doesn't get better than this at this time of year so I want to see you all there!!!

Also anyone that is interested in helping with figuring the tag challenge, adding scores, ace pot whatever and cooking, it will be appreciated! Nick and I will be there about 8:00.

Oh yeah, bring pencils.

See ya there!!

:ching:

I apologize that I wasn't at the monthly today with Tags.. I didn't get home until after midnight from the NEFA Team Challenge Finals where we played two rounds at Maple Hill. I promise that if I won't be at a Monthly from here on out, I will try and get the tags to someone that will be there!

Adam,

That was a fun round, just wish I had played the course before the tournament. Steve thanks for showing me the streams... After my discs landed in them. Great Shooting. Did anyone find a green nalgene bottle. It either fell off when I had to traverse the crater or in the creek.

See you all at NY States, Campgaw, and come to Utopia B-Tier next weekend in Westport, CT.
