Will be at Warwick, right?

Who is going to run it? I did it last time at Warwick, so it's someone else's turn to do that, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling on dates.

Here's what I know is happening in September that might conflict:

Sat, 9/4: Battle of Saratoga
Fri-Sun, 9/10-12: Eric Yetter Championship
Sat, 9/25: ABC Disc Golf Charity Tourney

So, that leaves:
Sun, 9/5
Sat, 9/18
Sun, 9/19
Sun, 9/26

Preferences?

I would prefer the 5th, seeing as it'll be before school starts. Any weekend will suffice though.

I don't think that that's going to work. Sunset times for Tuesday nights in Sept:
9/7: 7:22
9/14: 7:10
9/21: 6:58
9/28: 6:46

I think those times are too early to run a monthly, even silver-silver.

Thanks, Cuts. I know it's really easy, I'm just tired of running stuff.

What will you be providing for lunch? Can i play with one of my friends in the second round? When are we teeing off? What layout are we playing? Can we play old hole 3? Can I show up late? I don't have a pencil? I don't have a mini? Can I smoke and drink during the round? Can you hold a spot for me? Can I crash at your place for the weekend? Where is a good place to eat around the course? Hole 4 sucks, will it be changed by the date of the monthly? If I miss the mando on my drive, is there a drop zone? Where is hole 8? Will there be water on the course? Do I have to be a Skylands member to play this? Will this effect my rating? What's the SSA? Are collared shirts required? I am i outside? Is there a 2 meter rule? I'll shut up now 8-)

Here's all you have to do Troy. Put a bag or box where people can put their money. Than put a piece of paper with a pencil next to it so people can sign in to their division and write their tag #. Hopefully we will all play the same layout so we can distribute the tags easily.
I like B-B.
Send out the cards by tag #
Tally the scores.
Determine the payouts.
Redistribute the tags.
Done

Well considering the fact that I've already been doing something similar to that for the last 6 weeks of running doubles, I think I can handle it. If you guys are going to be soo lazy I'll run it.
:P That is if I can make it, which is pretty likely.

I don't have nice paper to print out score cards though. :x

Way to step up to the plate Troy!!! =D>
Im in for the 26th, B to B ! YAR!
Im sure we can get scorecards printed up for it.
The one on the website wont really work, cause we need it setup for foursomes. And we really only need 20 / 25 cards tops.
Greg, do you have a soft copy of your cards? maybe I can update to Warwick pars. But, someone will probably have it...

The Buzzys scorecard is what we need. Crap. I may have that somewhere..... :?

I just looked through my files and dont have the editable version (excel) of buzzys scorecards. Greg, please email to me and I will take care of the scorecards.

Unless someone already has them made up.... :)

AND!!!!! Im hoping a TON of DG varmets will be signing up for Gregs MATCH PLAY LEAGUE cause that the last day to do it! aye!

It sounds like you're running it. YOU get to tell US what time to be there and what layout.

Thanks Troy,

We will be holding an ANIMALFEST Meeting after the monthly at Warwick. If it's nice we can do it at the course, if not we can find a bar.

Any help, imput, volunteers, are much appreciated. Let's make this event awesome and showcase our club and course.

Just a reminder: I'll be collecting money at the September Monthly for the Match Play league. If you want in, be sure to bring money.

All the information you need is here but basically you need this much money:
Pro-$50
Am-$40
Rec-$30

I'll be driving up from Manhattan if you know anyone that wants to come and needs a ride. Leaving from the Upper West Side.

I'm assuming I don't have a tag, right?

Thanks Troy for doing a good job running the monthly. Just a quick question do you know if Jacob threw in a tag i thought he had the 7, or maybe he forgot to bring it. He left before the tags were given back out thats why im asking.

When Jacob signed up he didn't list a tag number next to his name, and I do not see a 7 next to anyone elses name. So I guess he didn't put it up for grabs.

Troy, thanks for running this and nice shooting.

Cuts, you asked about OB input but I forgot to bring this up. Most OB marked by rope is either OB beyond the rope or is some sort of peninsula with rope beginning the OB and also ending it. Hole 11 has OB water which is extended around the pin area on its back side by rope. Today there was no water by the pin and my shot landed on the bank just short of the rope.

This may come up at animal fest so just throwing it out there. What's the ruling? Maybe it's obvious and I just don't know the rules well enough but we discussed it quite a bit in our group.

Same thing happened in our group. We played it as dry since it was dry and there was no rope on the other side or water to determine the creek line. hope that was right. Also where is the drop zone on 18 if you miss the mando? we played ti even with the cedar tree to the left of it but i think i heard someone say the short tee, but that doesn't seem that fair. just wondering.

Great job today, Troy! - Both as TD and player.

It was a pleasure to throw with you today.

Also, a great round at Wolfe after the monthly. Thanks to Mike C., WEB, J-Byrd and Nick for the round!

great points, Steve we played it as "dry". We will have to make the call during the first week of November. If it's still dry, either we rope the other side or call it all IB. 18 and 8 may have the short tees as drop zones, Ill see what scow says. Thanks

Sean Bednarz took the Pro CTP on Hole 1. it was our group's last hole and he beat Brinster's drive.

Not cool to forget your tag AGAIN, especially when it's a low #.
