How about this? We can make changes and choose dates around other local events.

March 18th -Wolfe woods

May-Mighty Gaw
June-Warwick

July Monthly: BUZZYS JULY 26th
6PM

September 23rd October Warwick 10 AM tee Animalfest Warm up
October 21st. Wolfe Woods 12pm Tee
November -Mighty Monthly
December Buzzy

Schedule looks fine to me.

Your thread title says points series. To my knowledge, we've never successfully run this as a points series, just as individual monthly events. On the one hand, it would be awesome to run this as a series, on the other (based on all of the NEFA squabbling), it could be a nightmare to do so.

What do people think? Should we try to organize this into a year long series with a finals event at the end? Should we make this into a more organized series with at least trophies or something for the winner? Should we just leave it as it is?

I actualy didnt consider that when I posted. I just quickly copied it from last years title. I'd be in for anything that enhances our club events. I will try to go through the pdga and nefa schedules and try to suggest some monthly dates.. If someone wants to see a specific date , feel free to throw it up here.

That looks good to me. Maybe tack a buck on to entry fees to go toward a monthly trophy or payout? Otherwise, if we subtract a buck the odd $ entry could get confusing for payouts.

When is Rutgers March Madness? Thats the only March thing I think could interfere with the March monthly.

Also, will we cap the monthly ace pot like dubs this year? Have to be a member to collect full ace pot? We never had that nailed down.

The only events i can see in March that would affect us would be:

March O St. Patty's/Rutgers Sat 3/17
Johnny Boge/Tyler and Tourney 54 Sat 3/24
Philly Open Sat Mar 31

So either Sunday 3/18 or 3/25.

I'd like 3/25 but more Skylanders are likely to make a Sunday after Rutgers than Tourney 54 so 3/18 it is! :D

That sounds messy and still more for the td to keep track of. Can't the club just buy a few trophies out of membership fees? Only members eligible for trophy?

Not really any more confusing than the travelling ace pot that is handed off from TD to TD of the monthly events. The only issue would be if non-members qualify. We should figure it out quickly what we want to do though as the first monthly is a month away. I'm good with whatever the majority wants to go with.

Seems like it should just be left very casual and same format as 2011.

Wolfe Woods 3/18 ! sounds great

Tags should be there by then!

lets throw petroleum based objects into the muck of the lake and wait a million years to retrieve them and they could be recycled back into petroleum based objects. a perfect project for earth day, the circle could be completed. ROACH

Any day other than Steve Dodge's birthday works for me (because i have to work!). The 16th is actually Tax Day since the 15th falls on a Sunday so procrastinators are safe..

Hey Cuts, We have a conflict with The League and the Warwick Monthly on 9/23. Nick suggested we combine the two. Its not a bad idea. Whats your thoughts?

Makes sense to combine it. Unless someone feels strongly about the monthly being separate.

The PDGA option in the league is exactly that, an "Option". So for folks that are not pdga it would no affect them in any way or cost.

Well, the $ 2 PDGA league fee is not optional for the pdga league. It just becomes an option if we combine for monthly.

I have a box of landscaping staples/pins from last year. We will need them for the rope on 1 8, and 9. I will get them up to the shed or make sure someone has them.

The OB rope has to be taken care of this weekend. Just expose the rope, make sure it's not broken, follow it along all OB and rock walls. Flag on 1 and 8 and 9.

I can't get to the rope in time for this event. A bunch of us have been working on re-doing all the broken tee signs. Steve and I have 20 to re-do by next Saturday. Thanks.

We would have no place for the walk in folks to play, unless we incorporate walk ins with Monthly play. So WW would "not" be closed. Also no Pro division, Rec and Am only? Thoughts?

We never close any course for a monthly. A 2 division monthly would be fun, est 20-25 players. Plenty of room on the course for all players. I say we do it, we just need someone to run it and hype it up.

Thanks Cuts, I was'nt sure if we closed or not...

I'll run this one. Aye'm a bit overdue... I was toying with the idea to play the pro animal, but I'd just get eaten up by all the pro animals... I want to watch the last b 2 b round as well.

I'll get the flyer together and all. I say we do a 10 AM start so folks can get lunch afterwards then watch the entire last round. Aye.
