Kicking the monthly series for 2012 one month early this year! The inaugeral honor goes to WW!

Same rules as last year, except we will cap the ace pot if it reaches $250 and non members would have to join to get more than $50.

PROS $20
AMS $15
REC $10

Did you reduce entry fees on purpose? I'm pretty sure entry fees were $15 am and $10 rec last year. I prefer $10/5, but I may be in the minority there. No idea what pro fees were.

I corrected it, we'll go with what it was decided last year unless I hear otherwise thanks Greg.

The first 25 Tags arrived yesterday. I'll bring them to the monthly. Wolfe Woods is playing great, except for a few broken bottles (near 9's baket) ans some slick tees (need more dust). We should be good to go

$20, all profit (about 15$ per) goes to the club for our courses and sanctioning of our events.

hey folks......

joe and i could use as much human assistance as possible in our quest to get 18 holes playable at The Oasis as soon as possible. we've got umpteen projects going on the homestead and our garden is taking up a lot of our spring time.

i will be spending sunday afternoon working on the next 4 holes. who is able and willing to lend some support after the Wolfe Woods monthly? i probably wont play in the monthly so i can get a good start that morning on course work.

the plan would be to work as soon as the monthly concludes and then knock off about 5:30 and get in a 9-hole round.

it would be HUGE to have 13 holes done by sunday nite and not unrealistic if we get a decent number of assistants.

THANKS!

dd

Hello all,
In conjunction with the FDR Fool's Fest and the Brian Bandremer Double Basket Double Doubles tournament, I am pleased to announce the Brian Bandremer Basket Raffle.

The FDR Fool's Fest has donated a brand new Innova Discatcher Sport basket, valued $200.00, to be raffled off at the Fool's Fest.

All proceeds will be donated to The United Hospice of Rockland County.

The Discatcher Sport is a great practice basket, and can also serve as a target for temporary courses, camps, schools and home. With just 5 parts, it assembles with the help of a screwdriver in about 5 minutes. The DISCatcher® Sport is PDGA approved for tournament play, and is fun for all ages!

Scott will be at this week's Monthly at Wolfe Woods with tickets.

The raffle will take place on Sunday, April 1st 2012 after the final round of the Fool's Fest.

Tickets are $5.00/each or 3/$10.00

The winner does NOT need to be present to win!

Please show your support by purchasing as many tickets as you can afford!!!

Really awesome, Michael. Thank you!!!

To all who would like to purchase raffle tickets for this great basket ($5 for one, $10 for three), I will be at the Wolfe Woods Monthly this Sunday selling tickets. All proceeds going to a great cause - United Hospice of Rockland!

Tickets will also be available at the FDR Fools Fest on April 1. And as Mike said, you do not have to attend the event when the winning raffle ticket is pulled. We will have the names and phone numbers of all who purchase tickets on the back of the tickets.

IF you are NOT attending the monthly this Sunday, or the Fools Fest, just PM me (with your email address included) for my home address and you can then send me a check (made out to United Hospice of Rockland) for the amount of raffle tickets you wish to purchase. Once received, I will drop you a line that your donation has been received, and whether or not I see you prior to the Fools Fest Event, when the winning ticket will be pulled, I will personally deliver your tickets to Michael at the beginning of that event (as I will be assisting him to TD that event).

Thank you all! Skylands Rocks!

Sooo..anyone know the whereabouts of the monthly kit? Has to be an all-time club record for losing something! :D

Lots of things happening this monthly-the first monthly, first tags, basket raffle, and Oasis workday for those that can make it afterwards.

..and Luke's pulled pork BBQ!! Luke is on board to TD with myself (or actually run in case I'm extremely late! 8-) ) as usual. So we will have a traditional WW monthly after all! Thanks Luke, any other food stuff from anyone would be helpful!!
Same layout as last time, mostly longs with a mix of shorts from tees when it makes sense. Kinda wish this was PDGA rated.

BE THERE!!!!

in some alternate universe where the monthly kit is passed from td to td it is strange for it to end up in my shed. i have put it in my black soul which my lazy ass will drive down the hill this sunday morn. may i ask that we pretend this is a van nest affair and run it on time(yeah sure)? lots of paperwork to fill out, so dismount early adam, and get your ass there. Wondering how tags will be given out this yr? When we buy them in order someone who gets a low tag always seems to forget or just not challenge. Is there ant better way?

I'm on injured reserve, but I will be there to
a) sell raffle tickets with my wife for the basket (please try to bring some extra $$$ - for a good cause! $5/1, $10/3)
b) to pay for and pick up my tag!

Bandremer

ps: I've been telling my wife I've been attending a volunteer chorale society run by Roach for all these years I sneak away for dubs and monthlies on weekends, so when I get there, I'd appreciate if everyone was warming up their vocal chords...

historically tags have been given out after the 1st monthly results were in at buzzys, and then any left over tags were 1st come 1st serve. so this should be the order:
sign up for membership
play the round
recieve tags based on raw score
any others that want tags get them 1st come 1st serve
if more than 25 people sign up and play the over flow of the 26th highest score thru the 60th highest score would recieve those tags when they come in.

I have received 5 membership forms in the mail with checks for 2012. In the event dudes don't show up, is fair to mail them out #'s 21-25 if we have more than 25 people show?

Are there any tags left over? I need to get one, but wasn't able to get there yesterday. My singles league starts next Wednesday. If there are any tags left, I'll be glad to sell them on Wednesday.
