Great Work Day!
Saturday, 26 March 2011 20:57

Thanks to everybody who made this workday a success!! We had 20-30 volunteers throughout the day, awesome turnout Skylands! We also need to thank the Warwick Town Park crew for letting us use their Gator for the day to transport concrete, lumber, and tools, this was a HUGE help!

Also, a GIANT thanks to Russin Lumber Corp. from Montgomery, New York for donating all of the lumber for the 36 tee posts!!!!!!
Check out their website and be sure to go to Russin Lumber for all of your project supplies!

The Results:
34 Wooden tee posts cemented in!
Multiple tees were re-built and stone dusted. Chainsawing and lopping occured.
All holes were measured, mapped, and sketched for tee sign graphics! HUGE!!!
Great teamwork!! We dug and cemented all the tee posts in 4:30 hours and still managed to play some golf!
